I sent in my entry to the 11th Annual Rookie Awards this year! I showcased my texturing & lighting work from the past year and explained the biggest challenges and lessons learned.
The Rookie Awards is the world's largest contest for aspiring creatives, with awards for categories such as 3D and 2D animation, Visual Effects, Game development, etc.
I am incredibly proud to report that I made it into the Finalists for 3D Animation category this year! I also received an Excellence Award and a Rank A certificate, which means they believe I have "very strong skills suitable for production". 😁
This truly could not have been possible without the support and guidance of my fellow artists! It is such an affirmation that I am doing something right, and a sign to keep going. Never stop creating!!! :]
