Hi, I’m Diana!

​

In 2019, I decided to shift careers, from computer science and programming,

to animation and vfx. In 2020, I joined the MA program at Academy of Art University,

and later that year narrowed my focus to lighting and compositing.

Since then I have been working consistently to create, learn, and grow.

And currently, I'm a lighting and compositing artist on Rugrats at Nickelodeon Animation Studios!

The marriage of technology and art has always fascinated me.

For me, lighting lies right on that line. An understanding of how light interacts in the physical world,

as well as a grasp on the technology created to mimic that, is an important foundation upon which realistic worlds are built.

But at the same time that reality is nudged, massaged, and pushed, to evoke emotion and tell a story. That process is both so challenging and incredibly fun.
